christian DIOR

Christian Dior Haute Couture A/W 09/10
(& detail)
Pencil & Digital Colouring

The Dior show recieved mixed reviews.
Some thought that the designs were too familiar
and that Galliano had gone a bit stale.
I, for what it's worth, thought it was STUNNING.
It was hardcore vintage Dior with a contemporary twist!
Every single model looked like a vixen and I
loved the touch of underwear as outerwear with the
odd garter strap peeking out from silk & lace knickers.
Love love love.

Michaela Kocianova (above) was my favourite.
Check out this pic of her peering out at the paparazzi
during fittings. It could be a campaign it's so gorgeous.

Love the knicker details! When I first saw this collection, it immediately made me want to get to sketching! Glad I'm not the only one!

Thanks guys!
I have been on a bit of a roll lately.
I think this is the first time in a year that I haven't had a deadline looming over me. I'm taking advantage of some free time. Drawing...soaking up the sun (for however long it decides to stay out!)
