jenny PACKHAM

 I recently had the immense pleasure of creating an illustration for the invitations to
Jenny Packham's SS '14 collection showing at NYFW this past September.
I can't even tell you what a dream it was to work with such a phenomenal designer!

For the collection, Jenny's influence was 70's glam.
It's a little bit luxurious, a little bit bohemian, and every bit magical.
If the girls at Hanging Rock had returned from their picnic and headed to Studio 54
I imagine this is what they'd have looked like.

The invitations had to evoke that bohemian vibe with a slight rockstar edge;
big waves, doe eyes, and of course the over-sized orchids.

I've been living in the 70s lately with my iTunes spinning everything from David Essex
to Elton John, Blondie to Heart, so this job was all sorts of perfect for me!

You can view the full collection over at Vogue UK.
